AP Ecet 2017 is also known as ANDHRA PRADESH state engineering common entrance test. ANDHRA PRADESH ECET 2017 notification will give in the month of February or first week of March and conducted by JNTU University ANANTAPUR on behalf of the ANDHRA PRADESH State council of higher education for the academic year 2017-2018. AP Ecet 2017 Online applications will invite to take lateral admission into 2nd year regular B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharmacy courses in Universities and its affiliated colleges across ANDHRA PRADESH state for the academic year 2017-2018. Eligible candidates those who are interested to apply for AP ECET 2017 may submit their application online mode only through official website. For lateral admission into 2nd year regular B.E / B.Tech . Courses in both University and Affiliated colleges and institutions.

AP ECET 2017 Eligibility
Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
The candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana
The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non local status requirements as laid down in the ANDHRA PRADESH Educational Institutions

AP Ecet 2017 Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy from the state board of technical education of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana or its equivalent for admission into the relevant B.E/ B.Tech/ B Pharm.
Candidates who are pursuing a Diploma course shall be eligible for entry into the relevant B.E/B.Tech/B. Pharmacy courses provided they have completed the practical training prescribed for the award of diploma course before admission into the college.
Candidates should have passed or appeared final year exams of Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy/ BSc (Mathematics) Degree with at least 45% of marks, 40% of marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
BSc (Mathematics) Degree holders are not eligible for admission into B Pharmacy Course.

For B.Sc (Mathematics) Candidates:
Examination pattern for Pharmacy:
The question paper of AP ECET 2017 will be consisted of 200 marks distributed into 200 objective type questions. Each question contains one mark. The duration of the examination will be 3 hours (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.).
AP ECET 2017 hall ticket will be issued in the first week of May (tentative) only for those candidates who have successfully submitted their online application form. Hall ticket will be available only on the official portal or AP ECET 2017 or can also be downloaded from this page. While downloading the hall ticket, don’t forget to ensure that all the details are printed correctly.
AP ECET 2017 result will be available on the official portal of AP ECET 2017 on last week of May. Candidates can check their result by providing details like hall ticket number. Preserve your hall ticket number until the admission process gets over. Admission will be processed on the basis of score you have scored in the entrance examination.

AP Ecet 2017 Exam Pattern
ANDHRA PRADESH Ecet 2016 conducts for 200 marks, exam contain 200 questions all are objective type of questions each one carries one mark and there is no negative marks.
AP Ecet 2017 Qualifying marks
The qualifying marks to get rank in Ecet 2016 25% of aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects in case of BSc (mathematics) that is 50 marks out of total 200 marks. In case of SC/ST candidates there shall be no minimum qualifying marks.
How to apply AP Ecet 2017
Candidates need to apply through online mode only, candidates need to fill the applications and send application from official website through online and pay fee in AP or TS online centers or me-seva centers or through gateway.

Qualifying Marks in ECET
Only those who have obtained 25% aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) are eligible for getting a rank. No minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates. It is mandatory for the candidates to obtain 50 marks out of a total of 200 to be eligible for rank.
