National  Affairs:

• Sabrang Trust’s an NGO run by social activist “Teesta Setalvad”   Foreign contribution regulation act FCRA is been cancelled by the MHA ministry of Home affairs saying that the NGO has clearly violated the Mandate of the FCRA.

 

• One more Temple has been desecrated on 16^th June 2016 in Jammu and 3 days back a man in Jammu entered the temple and tried to Vandalise it although he is been identified and arrested according to the Depputy commissioner of Jammu “ Simrandeep Singh “ in his words with the PTI.

 

• Offering lord “ Ayyappa” the director of the company M.S. suresh  started with a fully mechanized “ Appam” preparation and packing  plant at the Sabarimala  in the Prasadom complex.

 

• According to the Baseline survey 2014 from the data received by the Sample registration system SRS west Bengal and Chattisgarh has the highest proportion among the people to be smokers and drinkers and the highest proportion of the age of smokers and drinkers are from 45- 59 that is middle age and the lowest from 15-29 age.

International Affairs

• According to the officials the Pathankot  airbase attack which had happened on 2^nd Jan 2016  the convict of this attack from the Jaish – e- Mohammad leader  inspite of giving directions  over the phone to the terrorist flew back and no charges are been filled  by the counter terrorism department CTD of the Punjab Police.

 

• According to the Chinese media on the 16^th June 2016 a new joint road has been mechanized  to restore the Stilwell Road  ( of about 1800 km long ) which are connecting the three countries “ India , China and Mayanmar “ to revitalize the trade in the region.

 Politics:

• A British MP of 41 year old named as Jo cox ( a first time MP and was a vocal supporter of Britain in the European union ) is been murdered at the village of Bristal on the outskirts of the leeds in west  Yorkshire on 16^th June 2016.

 

• The delhi government has appointed nearly 21 MLA’S as parliamentary secretary but the question arrises that will the Delhi assembly still be able to exercise the oversight role?

 

• Prime minister Narendra Modi is emphasisng on the collection of Tax asking the  Senior tax officials to increase the number of households from 5.4 crores to 10 crores to change their  attitude towards the tax payers( basically them to pay the tax easily and it becomes difficult for them to avoid to pay the tax).

Science And Technology Affairs:

• One plus 3 smartphone ( Chinese phone maker) on 15^th June 2016 launched a flagship  device  Oneplus 3  with 6GB Ram and a unique dash charge feature that gives a 60 per cent of Battery in only 30 minutes.

 

• The students of the TWO universities of Chennai and Pune  built  two tiny space craft  tested in Bengaluru on 6^th June 2016 will be set  free  in the space on June 20^th and they are also a part of  Indian record in the making of launching 20 satellites on a single launch vehicle.
